Watercolor-ing in the South
The other day I decided I needed expand my sketching horizons a bit. Right now I play around with colored pencils, markers, digital renderings, and a lot of plain old ink on paper. Why not paint? Typically it seems messy...overwhelming... difficult to keep control of... But it's worth a shot. I bought (with some strong guidance from the world's best intern) a set of travel watercolors and went to town trying to get the hang of it this morning. Still learning, but I'm excited.
I don't mean to make excuses, but I'm using a scanner I'm not too familiar with. They look better in person... I promise :)
