While working in a studio-team with Lindsay Rowland, the concept of the studio had to do with client-based, potentially flexible residential work.
This home was designed with the intention of it being a space that could be customized per family make-up. Conceptually, the design was driven both by the nature of a family and that of ever-changing cycles of nature. Inspired by the dog-trot philosophy and the design-build spirit of Habitat for Humanity, the project deeply explored sustainable living on a budget.
