Treasure-hunting

Matt's a really good sport, playing-along with some of the time-wasting ideas I get on a mad hunt for anything creative.  This morning we woke up and took advantage of daylight-not-observed-from-work and drove around for an hour taking random pictures of things in our middle-of-nowhere town.

Things we found : an architectural salvage warehouse housed in a 100+ year old ice house (with remnants of cork lining the walls and vines crawling all over); an abandoned greenhouse with a beaauuuttiful roof structure (can't wait to see this thing in the winter!); several old, collapsing barns, many fields of corn, and a couple steps into Davie County looking at some massive warehouse buildings.

One note : I use a lot of background textures and images in my work, and would so much rather be the owner of that image than have to worry about licensing, attribution, and royalties.  So.. if I see a cool texture, I grab a photo of it.  If anyone reading this ever runs into something similar, shoot me an email - I'll gladly send you any photos I've got to use however you please!

Now back to work!
